A user records a short video selfie (smiling and waving), which appears inside a real location-based postcard (for example Zadar). The content can be moved, resized, and positioned within the scene, creating an interactive memory instead of a static image.

Every AR postcard, greeting card, or mini AR book becomes part of a shared interactive journey. Users can choose to show where their story was created, where it was received, and optionally display their selfie or a selected visual on the map experience.

iPopUp Studio is designed to make interactive storytelling simple, emotional and easy to use for both children and adults.
Most experiences work through a personalized NFC and QR system placed on the back of the postcard, greeting card or mini story experience. Users simply scan the QR code or tap the NFC area with their phone, then turn the card to the front side where the interactive experience comes to life in an immersive AR-inspired way.
The NFC experience is most often connected to a personalized selfie, couple photo, family picture or group memory that allows people to see themselves become part of the story, destination or experience in a playful and emotional way.
The QR experience can connect to optional additional content such as websites, videos, digital books, audiobooks, personal messages, travel memories, social media pages or other creative interactive experiences chosen by the user.
For authors and storytellers, mini story experiences can promote books and creative projects through digital previews, e-books, audiobook samples, websites or promotional content connected through QR and NFC technology.
Children’s experiences are designed to encourage imagination and emotional connection in safe and creative ways. Depending on the concept chosen by the author or parent, children may see protected selfies, drawings, favorite characters, imaginative scenes or story-inspired elements appear interactively while moving the phone across the front cover or illustration.
The experience is designed to feel alive and dynamic rather than static.

Selected iPopup experiences can include optional custom-designed light strips inspired by themes, illustrations and atmospheres from picture books and stories.
